This service includes no additional fee. All Italo AGV trains have dedicated spaces reserved for passengers with reduced mobility, whilst you’ll find two wheelchair spaces in Carriage 8 ( in Carriage 3 on Italo EVO trains). Wheelchairs must not exceed the maximum dimensions prescribed by EU guidelines: 700 mm wide, 1200 mm deep and height of 1090 mm. Once in place in the reserved space, the wheelchair should be put into its “parked” mode with its brakes applied. These spaces are close to the disabled toilets.
To request assistance for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility, please contact Pronto Italo on +39 060708 at least 30 minutes before departure time and organise a meeting point where one of our dedicated team members will meet you.
Due to the continuing health emergency from COVID-19, from 1 December 2020 the service can be requested 24 hours before departure at all stations.
