Live TV and the On-board Portal

Italo introduces live TV on a train.
To offer you this possibility, Italo uses satellite technology and a partnership with Sky under which Italo offers Sky TG24 on all its trains to keep you up to date on world events while you travel. New channels may be added in the future, including additional Sky content.

The service is free in all the journey options; simply connect to the Italolive on-board portal from your PC or portable device via Wi-Fi, either with a temporary username and password sent by text message or with your italotreno.it username and password.

But live TV is not the only new feature. The on-board portal offers you Medusa’s best movies and additional entertainment and current events content provided by Italo, delivered right to your seat free of charge!

To complete the technology used by Italo, in Club every seat comes with a 9” touch-screen to allow you to choose your programme from the Italolive on-board portal whenever you want, including live TV.
