Italo and Ataf, in Florence with the train ticket you travel also around the city

With the train ticket you can move also in the city, on all public transport, both tram and bus, without extra fee. It’s an innovative agreement signed by the City of Florence, the public transport company Ataf and NTV in order to incentive the use of public serivces to the benefits both of the environment and city traffic.

How does it works
All travellers departing from or arriving to Florence can take advantage of their train ticket for 24 hours (since arrival time or 24 hours before the departing) to move around the city on the public transport network of Ataf and T1.
It’s necessary only to bring with you the Italo ticket and an identity card.
The time is calculated from the arrival of the train in the city or, for those who disfrut it before, since the departing of the train.

The ticket value for one full day on Florence public transport is 5€, but to all Italo travellers, turist or resident, it won’t be asked any other expense, since they have the right to travel by only showing Italo train ticket.

The agreement between Ataf and Florence City expect even, thanks to the accord with Florence Parking , that the travellers can take advantage, at very competitive prices, of the comfy parking of Montelungo (exit platform 16), just next the Santa Maria Novella staions (five minutes walk), that you can purchase on-line or on the Italotreno.it website at the following link: ntv.myparking.it
